As a follow up to last year’s well attended Voting Rights Forum held at the church, the Social Action Committee is collaborating with the League of Women Voters to register students at the local colleges, especially focusing on SUNY Canton and SUNY Potsdam. We would like to form a UU Voter Registration SWAT Team that can assist with local events and opportunities on each campus this fall. Training is being offered that will cover the logistics of voter registration with important details regarding students. For more information, contact either Bart Harloe or Margaret Harloe.
