Sunday Worship 2.2.25

A Small Group of Thoughtful, Committed Citizens . . .Can Change the World
The Rev. David Weissbard

There are people who think that Unitarian Universalism is a new thing in the world. I believe it is important to be clear that we are deeply rooted – that members of the Canton Church, for example, have been working to change the world for 200 years!

One product of the impact of members of this church was the1856 chartering by the State of New York of a Universalist Theological School and College of Letters and Sciences in Canton.  I was invited, as the final graduate of that Theological School, to deliver a sermon this Sunday to illuminate that history as a part of our Bicentennial celebration.

I hope you’ll join us.
