Members of our church hosted 20 pre-first-year students in the St. Lawrence University HEOP program for a summer supper last week. The meal was provided thanks to “The People Project” at Canton schools.
During the afternoon, the students had a tour of Canton, introducing them to Heritage Park, the art park, downtown Canton, and our church. Over a shared meal we welcomed these newly arrived students, who are on campus for a month-long “jump start” program.
