Based on interest shown in the Common Read book discussion about Being Mortal, and at a recent Coffee, Conversation & More on choices at the end of life, we are designating the Social Action Share Offering – SASO – on June 5 for Hospice and Palliative Care of St Lawrence Valley. Hospice has been serving the North Country for almost 30 years, offering support and care to individuals in the last months of life and their families, changing the way we all approach end of life decisions. Many members of our church have personally experienced the care of our hospice workers as they faced end of life with family or friends. Their work has changed the way we all approach end of life decisions. Checks should be made out to the Church, with SASO-Hospice on the Memo line.
