Planning for your Future and your Legacy 3.18.21

The UUA made a resolution to focus on Estate Planning in 2021, and we are joining their efforts. Whether you have been working on your estate planning for years, or this is the first time you’ve considered it, please join church member Kurt Terrell (Director of Planned Gifts at St. Lawrence University) and fellow congregants for a Zoom conversation on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 7 p.m. to learn more, ask questions, talk about resources, exchange ideas, and discuss our Church’s Olympia Brown Society.

Estate Planning can be impacted by any of these life events:

o   A change in marital status for you or someone in your family

o   A new child in your family

o   A family member going off to college or starting a new job

o   The loss of a loved one

o   A new home, living situation, or relocation to a new state

o   Thoughts of retirement in the long-term or near future

The Olympia Brown Society is our planned giving program that helps ensure future support for the mission of our church through one’s estate plans. There are no specific requirements for membership, you can make a charitable impact at any level, for various church priorities, and you can even be an anonymous member.
