We’re formalizing our Photo Release process to be in alignment with UUA best practices for internal and external communications. We tried to ask that each member of the congregation sign a release waiver so we may share our photos and videos with the broader community, but it just didn’t work. We have so many members and friends and visitors that we can’t possibly secure forms from all of them, and we don’t always know everyone in the pictures. That’s why we’re now trying something new!
We created a Photo and Video DO NOT RELEASE form so you can tell us if you DO NOT want us to use your image in our publications. We ask that you complete this simple ONLINE FORM only if you don’t want us to use your image. This form should be used for any children and minor youth for whom we do not have permission.
If it’s okay for us to use photos or videos that have you in them, no action is needed. We will assume we have your permission to use your likeness in our materials in order to share our wonderful connections with each other and to promote our congregation and invite newcomer UU’s to join us. Your permission will allow us to spread our UU faith to a broader community. Thank you in advance for your participation!
