Thanks to congregation member Robert Best, several of Minister Emeritus Max Coot’s sermons from the Leaning Against the Wind collection are available for all to hear and enjoy.
As Robert says, “Max’s phrasing and lyrical style are embedded in his written works, and bring life to his enduring message of love, caring and appreciation of life in all its complexities and simplicities.” Robert recorded Max reading these sermons and produced the CDs to “reproduce that intimate feeling and share…Max’s sensitivity to that which is both common and sacred in our daily lives.”
Limited edition copies of the Coots CD are available for $10 from the church office. Copies of the complete print version of Leaning Against the Wind, and more, are available here.
