It is with heavy hearts that we share with you that Esther Katz died on Friday, August 19.
Esther was long-time member of this congregation and Beth-El in Potsdam, describing herself as a JUUnitarian. She was a dedicated member of our RE Committee and so much more. She will be deeply missed.
Congregation Beth-El in Potsdam will have a traditional Mourners Kaddish prayer, sharing memories, and light refreshments as part of their Friday evening Shabbat Service that starts at 7 p.m. on August 26. All are welcome to attend.
A memorial celebration will be held in our Sanctuary this Saturday, August 27 at 10 a.m. We will also be streaming the service on Zoom for those who cannot attend in person. A reception will follow in our social room. All are welcome to attend this service, as well.
