The U.S. presidential election may be months away, but you will have a chance to vote for democracy during our congregational meeting on Sunday, January 31. The Social Action Committee will present a resolution supporting the Move to Amend campaign to end the corrupt influence of excessive money in politics. Twenty-five separate UU congregations across the country have already voted to support this resolution endorsing a constitutional amendment to firmly establish that corporations are not people and money is not protected speech.
