In Religious Education This Sunday 4.24.16

In religious education this Sunday, our children and youth will be learning about Zen gardens, continuing to learn individual uniqueness, continuing to create a bee hotel, introduced to atheism and agnosticism and traveling to Ottawa for a field trip.

Our Acting DRE and RE Ambassador for this Sunday is Maria Dickinson.

Our Nursery will be open and staffed by Kevin Ball and Emma Bentley-Hicks.

Spirit Play will learn about “Zen Gardens” and this tradition utilized by Zen Buddhists for meditation and praying.

Signs of Our Faith will be continuing to explore the beauty of each person’s uniqueness and how this is a sign of Unitarian Universalist faith.  Details about this session

Toolbox of Faith will be utilizing real tools for a service project. They will be creating bluebird boxes for Indian Creek Nature Center and building a bee hotel for the Priest Field Garden. Details about this session

Building Bridges will be introduced to the fundamentals of atheism and agnosticism and their importance to Unitarian Universalism.  Details about this session

Youth Group will be traveling to Ottawa for a field trip to the Museum of Civilization and Skyzone.
