In Religious Education 3.19.17

In religious education this week, our children and youth will hear the story of a persuasive ant, explore risk to our environment, begin making musical instruments, learn about social action and continue planning a worship service.

Our RE Ambassador for this Sunday is Anna Sorensen.

Nursery will be open and staffed by Katie Boczarski and Kevin Ball.

Spirit Play will be hearing the story “Hey Little Ant” about a persuasive ant and a boy who has hurtful intentions.

Teachers: Sarah Bentley-Garfinkel and Tim Nolan

Our Caring Community will be discussing how we put our environment at risk.  They will be hearing a story about recycling, experiencing water pollution and more.

Teachers: Jenn Whittaker

Maker Space will be begin making music.  They will be inspired by a video and explore timbres of different objects.

Teachers: Carron Collins and Pete Wyckoff

Coming of Age will be exploring how our faith and action for peace and justice are linked.  They will exploring ways they can make a difference in the world.

Teachers: Julie VanDuyne and Helen Hutchinson

Youth Group will be continuing to prepare for the upcoming worship service.  They will expand upon the work of the past weekend.
