This year will look a bit different than past holiday seasons, but we plan to celebrate safely with these events and services:
Saturday, December 12 at 4:00 p.m. – Drive Up Candlelight and Carols
Join us in the county parking lot (“the big one” behind the church) for singing, readings, and light from the safety and warmth of your car. BYOL (Bring Your Own Light) and festively decorate your car! Since this is a new event, we’ve created a FAQ sheet here. You can find the Carol’s Playlist here.
Sunday, December 13 at 10:30 a.m.: The Latke Who Couldn’t Stop Screaming
This year’s holiday pageant will happen on Zoom, but it will still include many actors from our congregation who are sure to delight and entertain you. An irate latke at Hanukkah attempts to educate Christmas characters about the history and culture surrounding the Jewish holiday, but his attempts are always in vain until he meets a family who understands.
Monday, December 21 at 7:00 p.m.: The Stillness of Solstice
A simple service of readings and songs of solstice.
Thursday, December 24 at 7:00 p.m.: Silent Night, Holy Night
A traditional candlelight service for Christmas Eve.
All services will be held via Zoom using the same link as our traditional Sunday morning worship services. Find the instructions here.
