Options for Paying Your Pledge

We want to make paying your 2021 pledge as convenient and easy as possible by offering the following options.

Check made payable to the UU Church of Canton (please note in memo line 2021 Pledge so your payment is recorded properly).

Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and AMEX) by going to the Donate page of the church website. You will navigate to our secure online giving site to make your gift. Site allows you to make a one-time gift or set up a recurring gift if you wish to make multiple payments over a period of months from a credit card. PLEASE NOTE: The church pays a 2.65% fee and a $.35 per transaction for credit card payments.

Transfer from checking or savings account by going to the Donate page, which will navigate you to our secure online giving site to make your gift. The site allows you to make a one-time transfer or set up a recurring gift if you wish to make multiple transfers over a period of months from your checking or savings account. PLEASE NOTE: The church pays a .9% fee and $.35 per transaction for transfers.

Paying your pledge using Venmo is quick and easy way and doesn’t incur additional charges for you or the church. If you aren’t already using Venmo, you can learn more here.

Using shares of appreciated securities or a mutual fund may be an advantageous way to donate to the church. If you would like more information, please contact the church office.

If you are age 70½ it might be advantageous for you to transfer funds from your IRA directly to the church. If you would like more information on an IRA rollover to charity, please contact the church office.
