Unbreathable: The Fight for Healthy Air
This short film is a timely, powerful look at fifty years of the Clean Air Act and the challenges we still face to ensure healthy air for everyone. Weaving historical milestones with current day stories of environmental injustice, the film is an excellent tool for educational and community engagement. A free screening will take place online on January 19 at 6:30pm, followed by a 60 minute webinar provided by Interfaith Power & Light.

The National Council for Science and the Environment (NCSE) and Project Drawdown co-host a virtual conference, “bringing together leaders, research partners, scientists, decision-makers, and friends from across the globe to share their science and solutions to the world’s most pressing global challenges. This joint conference will focus on the physical and social realities of climate change and the way this impacts people, ecosystems, markets, and the places people live; and how implementing climate solutions produces positive co-benefits to society, the economy, and the planet.”
When you register, include “UU” in the “Institution/Affiliation” block so you can be included in special sessions for UU collaboration.
The NCSE portion of the programming, January 5-7, requires a registration fee.
The Project Drawdown portion of the conference, beginning the afternoon of January 7, is FREE thanks to sponsors’ generosity.
