A Primer on Pronouns

Church member Ashley Clover will guide us in understanding how we can use pronouns to increase our inclusivity across the gender spectrum. Are he/she/they enough anymore? When is it appropriate to use “they” when referring to a single individual? What’s the big deal about pronoun use, anyway, and why are people making such a fuss about it? In celebrating 20 years of being a Welcoming Congregation, take this opportunity to get the answer to these questions (and more!) and engage with others about how we can use language to increase the sense of welcome folks experience as visitors to and members of our congregation.
