A White Supremacy Teach-In

Around the nation UU churches are having White Supremacy teach-ins. We’re going to talk about why change has got to come, and why it has to come now. We’re going to talk about living in a world where “white” is synonymous with “normal,” and where a set of institutional assumptions and practices, often operating unconsciously, tend to benefit white people and exclude people of color. We’re going to talk about listening to the voices of the people of color. We’re going to talk about sitting down and even about shutting up. And we’re going to talk about the joy of going forward together.
