In religious education this week, our youth and children will hear a story about a snowflake, look at the present in presence, continue considering homelessness, discuss the idea of good and evil and learn about the local chapter of SURJ – Standing Up for Racial Justice. Also don’t forget the holiday pageant rehearsal will be immediately after the worship service.

Coming of Age will be discussing the ideas of good and evil. They will hear ideas from some famous UU’s as well as member of the congregation.

Youth Group will be hear from Devin Farkas about the local SURJ (Standing Up for Racial Justice) group. SURJ is a national network of groups and individuals organizing White people for racial justice. Through community organizing, mobilizing, and education, SURJ moves White people to act as part of a multi-racial majority for justice with passion and accountability.
