The churches of the Church and Community Program, which includes our church, all collect non-perishable items of food to support our food pantry. These on-going contributions are essential to the strength of C&CP’s operation. Donated food also goes to the Canton school’s backpack program, which provides weekend supplements for children who receive free or reduced meals at school.
Following are foods that are especially welcome. Just one extra item every time you shop can make an important difference.
Food Pantry: canned meat, tuna, canned vegetables, canned fruit, peanut butter
Bear Packs Program: single-serve cereal boxes, granola bars, 100% juice boxes and fruit cups, raisins and other dried fruits, canned soup and pasta meals
