Women’s Work
Carol Zimmerman, DRE
Throughout history women’s work has included the undervalued and unpaid labor of housekeeping and child-rearing. However, women from our local region and our UU faith found work that changed lives and the world around them. We will celebrate some of these amazing women with the songs by Adirondack folk singer and songwriter, Peggy Lynn and through UU stories and activities in this multigenerational service.
We value the presence of our children in the sanctuary. At the back of the sanctuary, there are fidget baskets for anyone with wiggly hands or bodies along with a children’s corner with books, soft toys and coloring sheets. If you need more space, the service’s audio is projected into the Social Room.
