The Stewardship Committee is planning a goods and services auction to be held in early September to support of our 2024 operating budget.
We are reaching out to you now to consider donating a good(s) or service(s) to build our inventory of auction items. The auction will begin online and culminate with a live auction at church.
Past auction items ran the gamut from stays at vacation homes, cottages, and camps, to a wide variety of food items (soups, baked goods, fancy desserts, honey, maple syrup), guided nature walks and canoe/kayak paddles, special meals, an original chorus composition, and an in-depth exploration of six of your favorite Beatles songs.
Services included computer tech assistance, interior painting, pick-up truck & driver, father & son work team, weeding, pet sitting, piano lessons, how to build an igloo, help organizing clutter, knitting lessons, and a bee hive tour.
On a scale of 1 to 10, our church community grades an 11 when it comes to the diversity of talents and skills. Don’t hold back. We welcome more than one item if you are able to do so.
