Norbert Čapek and the Flower Ceremony

Unitarian minister Norbert Čapek of Prague was looking for an inclusive way to celebrate the summer, community, and our individual beauty. Now UUs around the world bring flowers on Sunday morning and place their flower in a shared vase. The congregation blesses them and each person brings home a different flower than the one they brought.
