You are invited to our Drum Circle on Saturday, January 28 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Social Room.
Caron Collins will lead a family friendly drum circle using frame drums and hand-held percussion instruments utilizing the Musicians Without Borders peace-building activities. Musicians Without Borders was featured as our Social Action Shared Offering (SASO) in February of 2021 and now you can experience it first-hand. No musical experience is necessary. Through simple rhythmic patterns, movement, and improvisation we will enjoy a fun music-making community, suitable for all ages and abilities. You can bring your own drum or percussion instrument or you can use one of hers. Activities include: Make your own Corn Shakers, Travel Bug/Trackable Trade, UUGeos’ Sign-in Game, and of course, Music-Making fun.
