Sunday Worship 7.24.22

What Have I Learned from Nature?
The Canton UU Worship Team

Three UUs share thoughts about how Nature has affected their spirituality, interspersed with music.

The Adirondack and Plattsburgh UU communities are also invited to join us for this worship service at Higley Flow State Park 42 Cold Brook Drive Colton, NY 13625. There is a day-use fee of $7per car to enter the park; see website for details about facilities.

Worship will be followed by a potluck, games, and fellowship. We encourage you to bring:

– Food and drink to share, potluck style
– Plates, cups and utensils
– Folding chair for each participant
– Joy of Cooking cookbook
– Non-food items: beach/boating items, sunscreen, hat, folding chair, musical instruments, stories, umbrella/raincoat (just in case), etc.

Special information about grilling: Grills are provided at the campground. People who would like to bring meat to grill as part of their potluck food contribution, should bring their own charcoal, matches and other grilling paraphernalia.

In case of inclement weather: If the weather is or is forecast to be atrocious, the event will be called off by 6 p.m. on July 23 via our website and/or recorded phone message on the Canton church’s answering machine. No alternate indoor service is planned.
